Hello everyone

I’ll try to introduce myself to you, and I promise I’ll try to make it quick!

My name is Eva (and don’t worry if you don’t know how to pronounce my surname, I’ll explain that in a second). I was born on the 12th of March in 1996, so that makes me 21 years old. I actually don’t really fit in here. I’ll tell you why: I wasn’t born in the UK and English isn’t my native language. I was born in a small city in Belgium. And no, the fact that I was born in Belgium doesn’t mean I speak French. Nope, Belgium has three official languages: French, Dutch and German. I was born in the Flemish part of Belgium, so I speak Dutch.

I always wanted to be a writer, but things turned out a bit different. I (almost) have a bachelor degree in education, I’m a history and Dutch teacher. But don’t worry, I won’t bore you with long blogpost about emperor Augustus, the Persian War or the Plague. Although, if you would be interested…

What else can I tell you about myself? I love reading and I wish I would have more time to read (I’m actually a very slow reader), my favourite book has always been The Host by Stephanie Meyer. I also really like the film. I actually don’t watch a lot of films. You see, the problem is that I’m way to sensitive and compassionate, I get too sucked in in movies and series. If I watch a drama, I promise, I’ll feel bad for weeks. An example: Marley was the hell for me, I cried throughout the entire movie. Yeah, I’’m that kind of person in the cinema…

I have a passion for everything beauty related. Skincare, make-up, nail-polish, haircare… I love it. I get way to happy over new skincare…. It’s ridiculous. That will also be what I write about most. What else can I tell you? I love cooking, but I’m a really picky eater. I have two really cute dogs. I’m a real dog mom, they’re my furry children. I’m a mess when it comes to organisation, I love my family and the thing I love to do most is just sit at home and watch Youtube ☺
